Maintenance Electrician Role

About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out all breakdowns and preventative maintenance activities across our production process.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing or completing Preventative Maintenance programs for processing, packaging, cooling, and heating systems;
  • Assisting in monitoring and developing new schedules for equipment, plant, and other relevant data to identify faults and take action as necessary;
  • Performing scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks as per instructions;
  • Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems/processes;
  • Undertaking general maintenance within a factory environment, including blow moulding, filling machines, packaging equipment, boilers, and refrigeration systems; and
  • Assisting in the induction and training of new staff as required.

This role requires a trade qualification in electrical with experience in boiler room and refrigeration. Previous experience in the food, dairy, packaging, or process-related industries would be highly regarded. PLC qualifications and/or experience mainly Allen Bradley (Rockwell) and pneumatic systems qualifications or experience are also desirable.
