About You:

  • You are passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and making a difference in their lives.
  • You have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a similar role or in a related field, such as youth or mental health.
  • A qualification in disability, individual support, or a related field is desirable but not required.

About the Role:

  • As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for managing shift reports, including progress notes and incident reports.
  • You will work collaboratively with the team to provide individualized support to clients with complex mental health and intellectual disabilities.
  • You will engage in various daily activities, including personal care, menu planning, cooking, and serving meals.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience supporting individuals living with intellectual disability, mental health, or youth in crisis.
  • Evidence of Covid vaccinations.
  • A current Drivers License.
  • Current CPR, FIRST AID, Working with Children Check (WWCC) & NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain).
