Job Title: Compensation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Compensation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payrolls on a rostered basis through Aurion
  • Maintain employee files, check and correct time data, process leave, and add new starters to the system
  • Ensure all payroll processing complies with internal and external audit requirements
  • Interpret Awards, Employment Agreements, and other relevant legislation
  • Assist with internal and external audit activity
  • Ensure staff are paid in accordance with their Terms and Conditions of employment
  • Conduct EOM reporting and assist with EOY reporting

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service experience with client resolution exposure
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn
  • Friendly and effective communication and phone skills
  • Intermediate skills using computer systems and MS Office
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and autonomously
