As an allied health professional or Early Childhood Educator, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled therapist to join our team in Western Sydney and Penrith. This role involves delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to children aged 0-7 years, particularly those operating within a key worker and multidisciplinary model.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner. They will also assist with projects that improve clinical practice and service delivery, ensuring alignment with current NDIS legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and outcomes
  • Deliver services to participants within schools, homes, and the community, promoting independence and overall wellbeing
  • Provide support and guidance to families and caregivers, empowering them to make informed decisions about their child's care
  • Maintain awareness of current research and best practices in the field of early childhood intervention

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • University qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, or Early Childhood Education
  • Extensive experience working with children aged 0-7 years and families
  • Experience delivering services under the NDIS, with a strong understanding of its principles and requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and families
  • A passion for working in the Disability sector, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services and supports
