Job Overview:
We are seeking a senior security professional to lead our organisation's efforts in designing and implementing robust security systems across our complex IT network.
The successful candidate will oversee the development of comprehensive security solutions, ensuring the secure collection, inspection, transport and assurance of sensitive data between classified environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the security system authorisation process based on industry standards
- Perform thorough threat and risk assessments
- Develop and manage security control baselines
- Guide technical staff on implementation of security controls
- Conduct regular control compliance audits
- Plan and supervise vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop strategic plans for ongoing security actions and milestones
- Manage continuous security monitoring and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- High-level clearance or equivalent
- Willingness to undergo periodic security assessments
- Strong understanding of big data systems and architectures
- Recent and relevant technical expertise in information security
