Job Opportunity: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the environmental industry.

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices to enable compliance and reduce emissions.
  • Provide direction and guidance to on-site sustainability teams.
  • Support effective risk management, monitoring, reporting and identify opportunities to reduce waste and water use.

You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge in:

  • Sustainable development and strategy.
  • Regulatory requirements for environmental sustainability.
  • Water and effluent management.
  • Sustainability trends and best practice.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with regulators and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Degree in environmental science or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a sustainability or compliance role.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation, operating licences, monitoring programs, standards and best practice in relation to water, land use, contamination and waste disposal.
  • Ability to lead a team of sustainability professionals to deliver improved outcomes.
  • Competent in use of productivity software applications.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Fremantle, Western Australia.
