Job Overview

This role focuses on processing and managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording and payment. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for verifying invoices, coordinating with internal departments and suppliers/customers, and maintaining a smooth cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of suspense accounts (AP/AR)
  • Cash flow management (AP/AR)
  • Record receipts and payments in ERP system (Bank reconciliation) (AP/AR)
  • Dunning, follow-up on collection and resolve problems in relations to customer's overdue (AR)
  • Processing and handling expense reports (AP)
  • Processing incoming invoices and ensures bills are paid in timely manner (AP)
  • Personnel Vendor master data (AP)

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Sufficient attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
  • Sufficient communication skills to liaise effectively with the wider business
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Preferred 1-5 years of work experience in a similar position
  • English skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage
