Job Title: Financial Transactions Manager

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage financial transactions in our dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing credit applications, maintaining debtor records, and preparing invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process credit applications and establish AR accounts with accuracy.
  • Maintain debtor records, verifying creditor details and invoicing documentation.
  • Prepare and issue invoices for services, room rates, city ledger transfers, and monthly statements.
  • Manage daily payment processing and reconciliations.
  • Respond to debtor inquiries and resolve disputes and refunds.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Review and process commissions and travel agent payments.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and credit reviews.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or related field preferred.
  • Previous industry experience is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in financial and accounting procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
