Project Leadership

As a project leader at Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit, you will spearhead vital water infrastructure projects on the Gold Coast.

  • Manage multiple renewal and capital work projects ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead project planning, cost estimation, subcontractor coordination, and performance reporting.
  • Guide your team in identifying risks, fostering innovation, and addressing problems that may impact project delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with delivery partners, design teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of learning by mentoring Project Engineers and encouraging best practices.

Key qualifications include:

  • Project Management experience within the Water or Utilities sector is highly regarded.
  • Cert IV or higher Project Management qualifications.
  • Previous experience managing major and minor capital works projects.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
