Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Real Estate Team. This role is available in either Melbourne or Sydney office.

This is a hybrid position that requires working at least three days in the office.

  • Lead, manage and support a small team who play a pivotal role in managing and growing our portfolio of Real Estate Agents, and Commercial Property Owner clients' insurance requirements and placements.
  • Develop strong relationships with Commercial Property clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries and needs.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective risk management strategies.
  • Oversee the policy renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and negotiate terms with insurance carriers to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent)
  • Insurance broking experience, ideally looking after an SME or commercial book
  • Prior experience managing a small team
  • Strong knowledge of retail and domestic insurance products
  • Experience in developing risk management strategies tailored to client needs
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client portfolios and achieving sales targets
