This role is fast-paced, yet extremely rewarding, allowing you to be part of patients' journey to recovery. You will have the flexibility to choose from a variety of shifts and rates between $69 - $162/hr.

As an Intensive Care Nurse with Pulse Staffing, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Assisting patients with their activities of daily living
  • Regularly assessing and monitoring patients' vital signs
  • Performing different types of observations and using various monitoring systems
  • Using and ensuring the working function of medical equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, feeding pumps, and monitors
  • Administering medication via different routes
  • Recognizing patient deterioration and timely escalation of care
  • Communicating effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives
  • Working as part of a team
  • Keeping accurate and timely patient records and following hospital policies and procedures

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in Intensive Care, Critical Care, or High Dependency Unit
  • Current Police Check
  • Rights to work within Australia
