
Cybersecurity and Compliance Professional

A Data Security and Compliance Officer is sought to manage corporate data privacy and security within the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement key IT security policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support business owners in meeting their obligations by providing guidance on data protection best practices.
- Provide first-line compliance reviews and monitoring activities to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and deliver data privacy training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of data protection principles.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure effective implementation of data protection policies and procedures.
- Report to management committees and maintain accurate records of discussions and actions taken.
- Prepare regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in cybersecurity.
At least 2 years' experience with data privacy and security frameworks, including NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies, as well as incident response planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide policies and procedures for IT risk management.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach and a commitment to excellence.
