Support Worker Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in delivering high-quality care services.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily Living Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Mobility Support: Provide mobility support, including transfers and positioning, using appropriate equipment.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
  • Social Activities: Support clients in participating in social and recreational activities.
  • Safe Environment: Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for clients.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Care Documentation: Document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in disability care or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and empathy.
  • A genuine passion for helping others.
