Senior Non-Clinical Operations Director

The General Services Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing non-clinical aspects of the organization, encompassing Catering, Cleaning, Laundry and Maintenance services.
Main Responsibilities:- Catering Management: Manage the provision of meals to ensure residents receive nutritious and balanced meals tailored to their dietary needs and preferences.
- Environmental Oversight: Supervise cleaning and laundry services ensuring they meet high standards of hygiene and quality.
- Maintenance Coordination: Oversee maintenance requests prioritizing timely repairs and exceeding resident expectations.
- Service Provider Management: Ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements for external contractors.
- Extra Service Delivery: Implement extra services aligned with organizational offerings, resident and family expectations, and contractual obligations.
- Financial Planning: Develop and manage budgets for assigned areas ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Staff Leadership: Supervise and develop non-clinical staff through proper training, performance evaluation, and development opportunities.
- Proven team management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the aged care industry including regulations, best practices, and emerging trends.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing staff in aged care or similar industries.
