**Job Title:**

Data Engineer for IoT Systems

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to design and architect high-performance service APIs, ensuring seamless integration across teams and products using Python and Golang.

You will develop robust governance, auditing, and management systems within our advanced telemetry platform, ensuring security, compliance, and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable backend services, messaging/data pipelines, and REST APIs.
  • Possess deep expertise in cybersecurity principles and address complex challenges of IoT environments.
  • Bring proven expertise in designing and optimizing systems using IAM models, encryption, access control, and compliance frameworks.
  • Design decentralized data ownership models, ensuring interoperability and governance across domains.
  • Design high-throughput, low-latency systems for IoT data processing. Data streaming technologies (MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ). Observability tools (OpenTelemetry).

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Deep expertise in programming languages such as Python and Golang.
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing systems for IoT data processing.
  • Familiarity with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
