Senior Consultant, Taxation Services

Careerlink People Solutions has partnered with a leading accounting firm to offer an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of consultants.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to continue working or transition to a tax specialist role, providing expert advice to a portfolio of high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting to various divisions of the practice on taxation issues, including client re-structures, tax planning assistance, and tax strategies.
  • Drafting technical advice on income tax and capital gains tax issues.
  • Researching tax issues and developing materials for internal and external presentations.
  • Ensuring completion of statutory compliance work, including financial statements, income tax returns, Activity Statements, and FBT returns.
  • Reviewing final work allocated to accountants and graduates as required.

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualified in commerce, accounting, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Highly committed and strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and building strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Excel, and MS Office.
