Procurement Specialist Role Summary

This key position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and consistency of procurement across various projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and manage tender processes effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement needs, develop procurement plans, and oversee the administration of contracts.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data to inform business decisions and optimize resource allocation.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and resolving issues as needed.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as business, commerce, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills or relevant experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
