Key Responsibilities and Skills
  • Civil works: Assist in the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and other public facilities.
  • Paving: Learn various techniques for laying pavement, including concrete, asphalt, and interlocking pavers.
  • Concreting: Develop expertise in concreting, including preparation, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces.
  • Excavating: Acquire skills in excavating, including digging, removing soil and rocks, and backfilling trenches.
  • Planting trees and shrubs: Gain knowledge of tree and shrub care, including planting, pruning, and maintenance.
  • Retaining walls: Understand the design, construction, and maintenance of retaining walls, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
  • Brick and block work: Learn bricklaying and blockwork techniques, including laying bricks, blocks, and coping stones.
  • Irrigation: Familiarize yourself with irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Pre-requisites: Possess a valid White Card and have reliable transportation or be able to commute to sites by 6:45 am each morning.
