About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Leader to join our team at Grace Care Centre. As a Care Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team of carers to deliver outstanding care to our residents with dementia.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement care plans that promote the independence, dignity, and security of our residents.
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional care, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care and support.
- Conduct regular reviews of care plans, assessing the needs of residents and making recommendations for improvement.
- Manage your time effectively, balancing the needs of your team and residents.
- Support the Home Manager in the development and implementation of care policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with a focus on dementia care.
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Ability to work autonomously, using your own initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries.
- Positive role model, with a natural ability to get along with others.
