Your Role:

As a Casual Assistant Electorate Officer, you will assist with developing a vibrant social media presence, creating and editing visual content, writing copy for social media and eNewsletters, proofreading and editing content, and assisting in the operation of the electorate office.

Requirements:

  • Skilled in navigating the media landscape and adept at digital content creation and managing social media channels.
  • Proficient with digital tools, experienced in website and media monitoring, and capable of using analytics to inform strategy.
  • A proactive problem-solver, known for your creativity, communication skills, and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Highly organized with a forward-thinking mindset, always one step ahead in planning.
  • A solid grasp of the Queensland political landscape and current affairs would be beneficial but not mandatory.
