Prosthesis Support Specialist

This is a permanent part-time role that involves working closely with various hospital teams to ensure access to required prosthesis supply. The goal of this position is to provide high-quality customer service and efficiency in the distribution process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily activities include collecting, collating, and processing theatre charge sheets for patient billing in Meditech, reconciling billing of theatre prosthetics and rebateable items.
  • Ensuring accurate recording and data entry of patient perioperative data and prosthesis numbers.
  • Liaising and working collaboratively with Patient Accounts, Theatre & Supply teams to resolve billing queries in a timely manner.
  • Resolving errors in reported usage and taking appropriate action regarding patient billing.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience working in large-scale inventory networks, preferably with hospital/medical experience. You must be a strong communicator, highly organized, and attentive to detail.

You should also bring:

  • Experience with SAP or equivalent is desirable.
  • Any relevant logistics/supply qualifications will be highly desired.
  • Experience in goods receipting.
  • Computer literacy across the Microsoft office suite.
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical prosthesis and Private Health Fund is desirable.
