Senior Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.

This role involves working directly with the Chief Technology Officer to develop a brand new mobile application using React Native while supporting maintenance on an existing Flutter mobile app. Additionally, you will contribute to our Node.js backend running on Firebase/GCP and enhance internal web tools built with React.

  • Technical Requirements:
  • Web stack: React + TypeScript
  • Backend: Node.js / TypeScript on Firebase / GCP
  • Integrations: RESTful APIs; Stripe (nice to have)
  • Mobile contexts: iOS and Android native integrations, NFC payments, Tap-to-Pay functionality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update our existing Flutter mobile app
  • Design and build a new React Native app from scratch
  • Collaborate on backend features and internal tools powered by Node.js and Firebase
  • Work with the CTO to make architectural and product decisions
