Medical Education Officer Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Medical Education Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and training, and wants to contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical programs.

  • Job Description:
  • We deliver education and training to medical students enrolled in the 4-year postgraduate medicine program.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with diverse stakeholders including clinician educators, medical students, volunteer patients, and staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Maintain calendars and databases to keep track of learning resources and schedules.
  3. Keep learning resources up to date to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly acquire an understanding of the School's work plan and contribute to its outcomes.

About the Canberra Clinical School:

The Canberra Clinical School delivers medical education programs, including clinical skills and clinical education to students enrolled in the 4-year postgraduate medical degree program. We work closely with Canberra Health Services to deliver a comprehensive program of teaching, clinical and academic supervision, simulation and student placements.
