Job Title: Transport Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team at Linfox Pty Ltd. As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functional transport operations of the site, ensuring effective utilisation of allocated resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transport operations and systems to enhance our client relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to address gaps.
  • Supervise daily site operations, ensuring work allocation, driver schedules, and service metrics are met.
  • Execute the Site Safety Plan and ensure staff training aligns with the site's Training Needs Analysis.
  • Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance/service schedules.
  • Participate in and commit to Safety Standards and Compliance Requirements.
  • Maintain Health & Safety documentation per our Safety Systems requirements.

Requirements:

  • Prioritize and manage the daily workload in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities.
  • Provide clear and concise communication in written reports.
  • Work in a safe manner, in accordance with Training, Safe Work Procedures, and/or instructions.
  • Have a proactive approach and positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
