The Registered Nurse is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
This position is based on the Orthopaedic/Surgical Ward of a major hospital and is a Maternity Leave position. The successful candidate will work a rotating roster that can be part or full time, including weekends and night duty.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct care to a specific patient population within each unit.
- Utilize a patient-centered approach to patient assessment and care planning.
- Practice in accordance with the organization's Aims, Objectives, and Core Values.
- Demonstrate the ability to work and lead positively as a team member to achieve team goals.
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently, and in an organized manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
- A desire to work in a mission-based organization that prioritizes patient care and well-being
