Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled educator to join our team as a Performing Arts Teacher. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and talents of our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs, modeling exemplary classroom practice, and mentoring/coaching other teachers to support staff development. Additionally, you will provide expert advice on content, processes, and strategies to inform professional learning, supervise and train one or more student teachers, and assist staff in using data to inform teaching approaches that drive student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that promote academic excellence and personal growth
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to enhance their teaching practices
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Supervise and guide student teachers to ensure their success
