Job Title: HSE Officer

A dynamic and proactive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional is required to support the HSE Manager in promoting a safe and compliant working environment across various construction sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian HSE regulations and standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting compliance and risk management by conducting regular site inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing risk controls.
  • Providing sub-contractor and site support, ensuring overall compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Delivering site inductions, assisting in developing safety documentation, and training subcontractors.
  • Assisting Site Managers with subcontractor compliance, site presentation standards, and maintaining adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HSE systems, managing HSE documentation, and supporting software integration.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Cert IV WHS or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites within Perth.
