Job Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our national governance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health education in general practice training.
As the head of medical education, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of culturally safe training programs for registrars and supervisors nationwide.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to align education with national frameworks and support GP registrars and supervisors in cultural education.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, proven leadership in medical education and training, strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, and RACGP or ACRRM fellowship with current clinical practice.
- Develop and implement culturally safe training programs for registrars and supervisors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align education with national frameworks.
- Support and mentor GP registrars and supervisors in cultural education.
- Lead national governance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health education in general practice training.
What We Offer
A full-time role with flexible work arrangements.
An annual salary range of $244,000 - $264,000 + super + charitable status salary packaging.
