We are seeking an experienced Training Development Specialist to develop, maintain, and implement training programs that promote high-quality patient care, a safe and efficient operating environment, and compliance with industry protocols.
- Create and deliver annual competency training programs and assessments that meet national standards.
- Develop and deliver new staff induction programs, including final assessments to ensure readiness for active deployment.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive training schedule up to 12 months in advance.
- Collaborate with MPC management, clinicians, clinical instructors, and quality managers to identify staff training needs and areas of risk.
- Design and deliver tailored training programs for staff addressing specific skills and training gaps.
- Develop training programs for new equipment and work methods.
- Oversee content development for the ELMO online training platform and maintain system content.
- Participate in clinical reviews to identify training gaps and improvements.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of staff attendance and assessment of training provided.
- Prepare documents, presentations, and reports as required for leadership meetings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and conflicting priorities.
- Effective communication style.
- Highly experienced in patient care.
- Able to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capacity to lead a learning environment via formal and informal training.
- Experience in patient transport.
- Meet the requirements and qualifications of an ATA.
- Clinical Instructor qualification (preferred).
- Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (preferred).
- Hepatitis B
- Chicken Pox
- Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
- Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis
- Tuberculosis
- Annual Influenza
