This is an exciting career opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to gain practical skills in parks and reserve maintenance.

About the Role
  • Support the Open Spaces team in maintaining open spaces and parks
  • Gain hands-on experience in turf/sportsfield maintenance, greenkeeping, nursery, tree maintenance and bush regeneration
  • Complete a Certificate III in Horticulture Course at Yallah TAFE

This role offers on-the-job and off-the-job training with potential to gain additional tickets such as a Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence, forklift ticket, loader competency and more.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine tasks related to parks and reserve maintenance
  2. Maintain quality standards in turf/sportsfield maintenance, greenkeeping, nursery, tree maintenance and bush regeneration
  3. Work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision

To succeed in this role you will need to be proactive, highly organized and possess excellent communication skills. You should also be physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
