
Hearing Specialist

Clinical Audiologists are key professionals in the healthcare sector responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with hearing impairments. This role involves utilizing a range of techniques to determine the extent of client hearing loss, reporting results, and making referrals as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess a University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification, current membership or eligibility for membership of AudA or ACAud, and a QP number. Strong audiological skills, excellent customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience are essential.
">Key Responsibilities- Assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests
- Reporting results of assessments and tests in writing and making referrals to medical practitioners
- Recommending solutions to those with hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices
- Providing counselling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment
- Assisting with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies
University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
Current membership or eligibility for membership of AudA or ACAud
QP number
Solid audiological skills and knowledge
Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience
Ability to learn and understand new software with training
Proven ability to achieve KPIs
