  • Furniture, fixtures, and equipment must be cleaned and polished regularly to maintain their appearance.
  • Dust accumulation on furniture, walls, machines, and equipment can lead to damage, so regular dusting is necessary.
  • Maintenance and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems are required to ensure they function properly.
  • Cleaning solutions must be prepared according to specifications, requiring the mixing of water and detergents or acids in containers.
  • Carpets require steam-cleaning or shampooing to remove dirt and stains.
  • Floor restoration involves stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors to restore their original appearance.
  • Fire, smoke, or water damage to building interiors requires thorough cleaning using commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Clean laboratory equipment such as glassware and metal instruments using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.
  • Operational vehicles such as vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners are used for transporting personnel and equipment.
  • Security and safety measures are monitored by performing tasks like locking doors after operational hours and checking electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
  • Heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies are moved manually or using hand trucks.
  • Lawn mowing and trimming, shrubbery care, and debris removal from grounds are also part of the role.
  • Notifying management about major repairs or additions to operating systems is an essential duty.
  • Procuring supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties is required.
