Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven leader to oversee the quality and efficiency of maintenance work in our open-cut mining operation.

  • This is a site-based role working a 9-day fortnight roster, giving you a balanced lifestyle while contributing to one of Australia's premier mining operations.

The successful candidate will have a trade certificate or engineering degree, experience supervising site-based maintenance teams, and demonstrated knowledge in mobile mining plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement weekly maintenance plans in alignment with production goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, OEMs, and suppliers to ensure effective asset management.
  • Oversee the quality and efficiency of maintenance work, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Set performance expectations for your team, providing coaching and mentoring to foster growth.
  • Manage costs and ensure adherence to project requirements.
  • Support inventory management and ensure timely delivery of critical components

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Trade Certificate/Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience supervising site-based maintenance teams in open-cut mining.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in mobile mining plant maintenance.
  • Cooking RIIRIS301A, RIICOM301B, RIIOHS301A, RIIRIS402A skills
  • Strong budgeting, planning, and cost control skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and maintenance management systems.
