Maintenance Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management and execution of maintenance activities to ensure optimal asset performance and reliability. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes that drive efficiency and cost savings.

About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager who can lead our maintenance team in planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities across various sites. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of technicians and engineers to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance
  • Liaise with department managers to identify and prioritize maintenance activities based on business needs
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex maintenance issues and improve processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources to achieve optimal utilization and minimize waste
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any concerns or issues raised by site staff
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to help team members grow professionally and personally
  • Promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the team and throughout the organization

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management position
  • Demonstrated expertise in maintenance planning, coordination, and execution
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to maintenance operations
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other software applications related to maintenance operations
