Job Title

A highly skilled broadcast technician is required to manage all aspects of an in-house production studio and a purpose-built event space.

The Role
  • Plan and configure broadcasts and live events.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot the live production environment.

Responsibilities include operational management of the broadcast studio, managing and troubleshooting audio mixing, video switching and routing, assist in the planning and execution of technical upgrades for current and future projects, organise the installation of various audio, visual and lighting equipment as needed, full technical responsibility for in-house video conferencing and meeting rooms, proactive maintenance of all audio-visual and broadcast equipment including software, arranging servicing with vendors as required, management of external vendor and contractor relationships, providing remote support to global offices as required, act as liaison to Events team and manage hotel AV providers for any broadcast and audio-visual needs relating to off-site conferences and events, video editing for internal recordings, ad hoc duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience within a live television news broadcast environment ideal, or similar.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience within a corporate environment preferred.
  • Some knowledge and experience working with audio visual systems, video switching, audio mixing, routing, lighting, camera operation within a corporate or studio environment.
  • Familiarity with non-linear editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure consistent quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and activities.
