Insurance Industry Insights Role

In today’s fast-paced business environment, the ability to anticipate change, unlock value and drive growth through powerful insights is more crucial than ever. As an Insurance Industry Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing deep insights and perspectives on the Insurance sector to EY leadership, participating in client meetings and external events to strengthen our presence and reputation in the market.

This analyst position involves combining strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset with real-world perspectives driven by an understanding of client issues and broader marketplace drivers. You will work closely with our global network of Knowledge Analysts, Industries and Service Lines business network to further strengthen the quality of your insights.

  • Engage with and challenge senior leadership to provide commercial and provocative perspectives on industry issues, challenges and opportunities facing clients.
  • Co-create insights beyond publicly available information, interact with EY leaders and external networks to build proprietary data sets and evidence for differentiated points of view.
  • Lead/contribute to multidisciplinary teams for delivery of strategic and complex projects, often working virtually across industries, service lines and geographies.

To succeed in this role, you must have 5+ years experience researching trends in the Insurance industry (Life and Non-Life), expertise in at least one of the priority focus areas – Sustainability, Finance Transformation (IFRS17+) or Embedded insurance – and deep analytic capabilities leveraged to support EY's Insurance thought leadership agenda.

  • Experience interacting with senior business leaders, leading conversations and offering differentiating perspectives.
  • A proven ability to deliver succinct and structured oral and written communications.
