Open Cut Mining Leader

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a mining crew to achieve production targets safely and efficiently. You will support the Production Supervisor by stepping up as a supervisor when needed and performing regular inspections.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Production Supervisor by leading a mining crew to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
- Step up as a supervisor when needed.
- Perform regular inspections and complete reports as per site policies.
- Coordinate dispatch personnel, production operators, and equipment to meet production schedules.
- Apply mining practices to help reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Experience as a Step-Up Supervisor or Leading Hand in open-cut coal mining is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of open-cut coal mining operations.
- Strong organisational, communication, and presentation skills with a friendly and motivational approach.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Relevant qualifications in the coal mining industry.
- Permanent full-time opportunity.
