Agricultural Services Business Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our expanding agricultural services business line in Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the agricultural sector market and clients, assisting the leadership team in defining the local sales strategy and budget aligned with market requirements, and achieving annual sales targets by implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor the agricultural sector market and clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Assist the leadership team in defining the local sales strategy and budget aligned with market requirements.
- Annual Sales Targets: Achieve annual sales targets by implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to inform sales strategies and make informed business decisions.
Customer Liaison: Maintain regular contact with customers and potential clients to build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Marketing Materials: Develop and maintain local marketing materials in line with company guidelines to promote the business and attract new customers.
Team Support: Support the overall AmSpec Agri operation in Australia by providing expertise and guidance to the team as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the grain industry, including sampling, testing, and standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel regularly interstate and occasionally overseas.
