Senior Quantity Surveyor (Infrastructure)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading cost management services across a portfolio of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mid- to large-scale building or infrastructure projects in Australia and excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


Responsibilities
  • Lead pre- and post-contract cost management services across a portfolio of projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic commercial advice.
  • Oversee cost plans, estimates, tender reviews, and value engineering exercises.
  • Manage and mentor quantity surveyors and cadets to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Provide commercial oversight, reporting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to fee proposals.
  • Represent the firm in client, consultant, and contractor meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal QA systems and industry standards.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a consultancy environment delivering cost management services.
  • Professional membership with AIQS, RICS, or working toward chartership.
  • Proven leadership and client-facing experience with strong commercial acumen.
