Job Overview

The Alkimos desalination project involves the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a seawater reverse osmosis plant. Works include marine works, tunnels, seawater intake systems, groundwater systems, drinking water storage and pump systems, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our delivery team based in Alkimos. This role will involve managing mid to large-scale projects to schedule and budget, as well as liaising and managing subcontractors and self-perform teams.

  • Manage projects to meet quality, schedule and budget requirements.
  • Monitor and report on quality, schedule and budget variances.
  • Lead subordinate or other discipline resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare project documents and reports.
  • Enter data into various platforms.
  • Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation.
Main Responsibilities

Support proposal opportunities aligned with your group's strategy.

Required Skills And Qualifications

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is required. At least 2-5 years of previous experience in Mechanical installation in Water Plants is also required. Previous experience in supervising mechanical equipment and documenting suppliers is preferred.

A proactive and motivated individual with excellent teamwork skills is essential for this role.
