Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Program Officer to enhance students' employability through innovative mentoring programs. As a key player in the University's strategic initiatives, you will be responsible for optimizing program performance and driving continuous improvement by analyzing data and implementing evidence-based practices.

This role requires you to leverage your expertise in stakeholder management, building strong relationships across the University, particularly with Faculties and Alumni Relations. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating Career Mentoring Programs, supporting and developing initiatives linking students to alumni and industry for career exploration and professional networking.

The position involves:

  • Program Management: Coordinate and support a range of mentoring programs, alumni panels, and employability events, ensuring high-quality delivery and student engagement.
  • Manage Digital Platforms: Develop expertise in the Chronus mentoring platform, handling configuration and user support.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders across Student Success, Faculties, Advancement, and student and alumni audiences.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to innovation and enhancement of practices based on data analysis and feedback.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • A Bachelor's degree or extensive relevant experience in career mentoring or employability initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle competing deadlines.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and building effective networks.
  • Demonstrate service excellence and collaborative working skills.
