A loving and relaxed family in Brisbane is seeking a calm, kind, and nurturing nanny to support the mum and care for their two happy boys aged 4 years and 7 months.

We are looking for an experienced nanny with a warm approach who can build a lovely bond with our children and become part of our loving family.

The ideal candidate will be confident, patient, and enjoy activities such as taking the baby for walks and spending time outdoors providing stimulating educational play.

The nanny should be competent, safe, and respectful while caring for the baby and familiar with current guidelines and recent experience with babies and toddlers.

The role involves mostly caring for the baby and supporting the mum taking the child out for walks occasionally walking the eldest child to kindergarten preparation of meals and snacks tidying of kitchen and play areas folding and packing away laundry loading/unpacking dishwasher and contributing to the general smooth running of the household.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for the baby
  • Follow and adapt to the baby's routine
  • Play and engage age-appropriate creative activities
  • Taking the baby for walks
  • Occasionally walking the eldest child to kindergarten
  • Preparing baby food and introducing solids
  • Assist with some light household duties washing up laundry and cleaning up after the baby
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a nanny or working in childcare
  • Childcare qualification preferred but not essential
  • Recent young baby/toddler experience
  • Current first aid certificate and blue card
  • Strong communication skills and speak English fluently
  • Additional spoken language German would be an advantage
  • Fit healthy and active
  • Punctual reliable and respectful
  • Current QLD Licence and clean driving record
  • Nanny required to have own car family will provide car seats if necessary
  • Non-smoker/vaper
  • Up-to-date with all vaccinations
