The Queensland Police Service seeks an experienced Communications Team Supervisor to lead and manage a team of Communications Operators within the Beenleigh Police Communications Centre.
As a key member of our Communications Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality client-focused call taking and dispatch services are provided to customers across the state.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Manage a Communications Centre team to ensure exceptional customer service and effective issue resolution.
- Ensure consistent service levels through effective resource scheduling, leave management, and staff performance reviews.
- Identify and provide training needs to staff members as required.
- Provide guidance on service delivery, policy, and procedures to team members.
- Collaborate with relevant staff to enhance customer service programs, systems, and processes.
- Research and analyse issues to improve operational effectiveness and advise management on solutions.
Requirements for this role include participation in a probationary period while completing a Communications Operator Training Program, working a 24-hour, 7-day roster with shift penalties, and undertaking regular hearing testing during employment.
Applications remain current for 12 months.
