Horticulture Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Horticulture Team Member to join our team in a premium entertainment facility located in the heart of Broadbeach. This role offers a unique opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to maintain beautiful gardens and green spaces, ensuring they are always looking their best.

The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled team, utilizing their expertise to maintain a permanent site 5 days a week. They will be responsible for following schedules and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a high standard of garden appearance and condition
  • FOLLOWING established schedules and protocols to ensure efficient maintenance operations
  • Inspecting garden areas regularly to assess their condition and identify improvements needed
  • Interacting with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities
  • Ensuring that Green By Nature's reputation is upheld by maintaining a premium site while working amongst guests and staff of the facility

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, as well as experience in indoor and outdoor plants and irrigation systems. A valid driver's license and White Card are also essential requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are highly valued.
