We are seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role requires availability to work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained, vibrant community environment. Our village grounds are beautifully landscaped, featuring serene walking paths and a relaxed coastal atmosphere.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our village grounds remain safe, visually appealing and well-maintained. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of gardens, lawns and outdoor areas to uphold high presentation standards.
  • Responding promptly to gardening requests and projects in accordance with company procedures.
  • Managing rubbish bin placement and waste disposal tasks.
  • Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
  • A strong understanding of horticultural practices and plant care.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain high standards of presentation.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with residents and colleagues.
  • Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move up to 15kg.

Experience in retirement living, schools, public spaces or similar environments will be highly regarded.
