MRAEL, in partnership with Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB), is seeking a highly motivated and eager Trainee Land Management Officer to join their team.
About GAWB
GAWB is a leading water provider that delivers safe and reliable services that enhance the livability and economic development of our region. As a Trainee Land Management Officer, you will contribute to Gladstone's most essential service and gain valuable experience in the conservation and ecosystem management industry.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Land Management Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Performing a range of conservation and ecosystem management activities, including site restoration, rehabilitation, renewal, and management of rural/natural landscapes, degraded sites, and marine environments.
- Contributing to the preservation and maintenance of wildlife and their habitat in the natural ecosystem, parks, and reserves.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A genuine interest in the Horticulture industry.
- A current C Class Drivers Licence.
- Highly motivated self-starter with great initiative.
