Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at World Fuel Services. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our Project Management System and other quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain compliance with project specifications and standards, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
- Review subcontractors' quality documentation to ensure they meet our quality management system obligations.
- Participate in supply chain and procurement progress meetings, contributing to quality risk assessments and QC requirements.
- Perform regular quality process control audits, conducting surveillance and witnessing of formal testing, as well as random verification checks and handover inspections.
- Assist in conducting project audit programs according to the approved audit schedule.
- Provide training to project personnel on quality systems, including DSIMS (MS SharePoint) and WFSA DG management system.
- Drive the close-out of manufacturing, production, assembly, supply chain, and procurement quality issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 5 years as a Quality Engineer in an engineering environment (preferably Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Construction, or Defence industry).
- Specialist experience in project engineering (mechanical) and a working knowledge of project management.
- Competence in quality planning and reporting.
- Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
- A sound working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements and their implementation.
- Exposure to Enterprise Requirements/Materials Requirements Planning (ERP/MRP), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tools [IBM Maximo, SAP].
- A Defence security clearance may be required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Please note that this information is provided as a guide only and may not reflect the actual compensation package offered by World Fuel Services.
