Senior Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at World Fuel Services. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our projects and processes, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in quality management, with experience in project engineering and project management. They will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring compliance with quality management systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, they will assist in the preparation and review of work packages, and conduct quality audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and monitor compliance with quality management systems, including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tools such as IBM Maximo;
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions;
- Assist in the preparation and review of work packages, ensuring conformance reviews are conducted on all internal and deliverable documentation and product;
- Conduct quality audits and inspections, including surveillance and witnessing of formal testing, random verification checks, and handover inspections;
- Collaborate with project personnel to ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards;
- ≥10 years post-graduate experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a Quality Engineer in an engineering environment (preferably Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Construction, or Defence industry);
- Specialist experience in project engineering (mechanical) and a working knowledge of project management;
- Competent in Quality Planning and Reporting;
- Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings;
- Sound working knowledge of Health Safety and Environment requirements and implementation of same;
- Exposure/experience with Enterprise Requirements/Materials Requirements Planning (ERP/MRP), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tools [IBM Maximo, SAP];
- Defence security clearance may be required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and professional development opportunities.
