We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Assistant.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a vital role in facilitating group and individual activities that cater to each resident's assessed needs and preferences. This enables residents to achieve their cultural, emotional, physical, social and spiritual goals during daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide recreational/lifestyle activities to meet the needs of residents
- Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of lifestyle activities that incorporate residents' needs and preferences
The ideal candidate will be kind, resident-focused and enjoy supporting residents to participate in a range of activities. They will have experience in providing care and support to older people and a positive attitude towards aging.
Requirements- Knowledge and experience in providing recreational/lifestyle activities
- Experience working with older people and their families
- Positive attitude towards aging and older people
As a Lifestyle Assistant with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work cooperatively as part of a team, manage your time effectively, use an electronic documentation system and comply with infection prevention and control procedures.
