About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Data Solution Architect to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-level data solutions that align with our company's technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop end-to-end data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, data acquisition, and data consumption architecture.
  • Collaborate with project teams and partners to lead and provide solution design, design governance, and hands-on delivery.
  • Provide expert technical leadership across multi-disciplinary teams to promote successful delivery of technology capabilities.
  • Engage with technology vendors and utilize research services to stay abreast of market activities, best practices, and educate business representatives on technology directions.
  • Lead the preparation of solution designs that align with target or current state domain and enterprise architectures, and strategic goals.
  • Ensure attention to technical quality attributes such as security, scalability, maintainability, flexibility, availability, deliverability, and integration.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in architecting end-to-end data platforms.
  • Domain experience in Insurance is a plus.
  • Strong candidates with experience on other data platforms such as Redshift and Snowflake will be considered.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as AWS, Databricks, DBT, FiveTran, Collibra, cloud hosting, and cloud infrastructure.
